This album is unique in that 100% of the sounds were made from synthesizer glitches, but despite that, most of the tracks do feature rhythm and some of them even have melody! Check it out if glitch or noise are your thing.Tue, 13 Jul 2010 19:41:00http://k-pdt.net/?p=news&n=64ॐॐ (pronounced "Aum") is Steinkreis' final release. As you might guess from the title, the album is about existence, the soul, and space eternal. The music consists primarily of electronically-generated drones that evoke all the emotions you would expect from a release that deals with such heavy ideas. The final track, Walls of Infinity, may sound familiar to some people. Because it was used in a previous (limited distribution) release, Steinkreis has come full circle, thus making it the perfect song to bring about the project's retirement.Sat, 24 Apr 2010 20:08:00http://k-pdt.net/?p=news&n=63Ostensibly OssifiedK-PDT welcomes Ostensibly Ossified to the roster! Ostensibly Ossified is a plunderphonics "band" who specializes in nonsensical songs and cut-up dialog. The debut album, Emeritus Executioner, is a compilation of mini-songs and remixes of popular music as well as scrambled clips of news reports, rants, and advertisements. The EP--jokingly titled Underground! Volume 1--is a four-track consisting of full-length mashups and mixups of music that should sound familiar to most people.Tue, 20 Apr 2010 07:10:00http://k-pdt.net/?p=news&n=62Nature Circuit - A Threatening EmptinessNature Circuit returns with 13 new tracks called A Threatening Emptiness. This is a conceptual album about voids and nothingness, and the secrets that lurk within them. Expect drone, dark ambient, and a lo-fi style (the album was recorded onto tape). Furthermore, expect the unexpected, as blankness is a subject not many are willing to explore.Wed, 10 Mar 2010 19:07:00http://k-pdt.net/?p=news&n=60AxisKrovo has just released its 5th EP for K-PDT! The latest album, the self-titled, is his finest work to date, showcasing his evolving style of music, which now ranges from short bursts of sound-collage-gone-grindcore to dark ambient with neo-jazzy percussion.Thu, 14 Jan 2010 20:35:00http://k-pdt.net/?p=news&n=55OktransKrovo has just made available the 3rd EP, Oktrans, an EP of four tracks inspired by the season of autumn.
