Hello and welcome to K-PDT.Net! We are a small independently-run group whose goal is to provide a home for artists to release material freely and without boundaries, though we deal mainly in experimental works; many of the artists involved take influence from the noise, industrial, musique concrete, jazz, dada, and surrealist art movements, but at the same time attempt to create new and original ideas. These are the very loose concepts that tie us together, but even they are flawed because each artist and each work is its own separate entity, and no generalizations can accurately cover everything that has been or will be created by the people and groups who release material with us.

Feel free to browse through the site and click on anything that sounds interesting to you. Don't limit what you can find, because everything we have released is given away free of charge.

If you are an artist who wants to release something with us, drop a line to defaultxr@gmail.com, and expect an answer within a month.

Note: A few parts of this site are going through maintenance at the moment. Some functions (namely, the RSS feed and the stats) have stopped working. I have plans to fix this and various other issues to make the site run more smoothly. The biggest change you'll notice right now is that the ugly ads in the right-hand sidebar have been removed! Yes, I decided that I didn't want to give advertisers any more space than they already have, and Google certainly won't miss the pennies they've earned from the ads on this site. Neither will I. Another recent change is that the "forum" is now located at K-PDT's facebook page. I have decided to move it there because it will be easier to keep free of spambots, and much easier to maintain. (You might have noticed that the forum on this website stopped working a long time ago.)

Krovo - Find
Find, Krovo's 3rd release for K-PDT, is now available! It is much more conventional in structure than the previous two releases, though it continues to experiment with textures. Each song is a loosely improvised jam, whose best moments are (in theory) caught in this EP.

Plane / Plain
Steinkreis's new release is available now. It's a bit different from STK's previous releases, in that it is composed of four parts that are meant to be heard together - the release is not simply the traditional "collection of songs" format that many artists use, but rather a cohesive whole with a unifying concept. The only way to experience it is to hear it for yourself. It is ambient and shoegazey, but never boring. Don't let any preconceived ideas keep you from checking this album out. Steinkreis is continuing to take listeners to places that seem only vaguely familiar, as if experienced previously in forgotten dreams and discarded premonitions.

Songs in the Key of Death
A new Nature Circuit release is available, titled "Songs in the Key of Death". It is a much more aggressive release than the first EP, approaching power electronics territory while still creating some interesting textures.

If noise is defined as unpleasant sound than pop music is noise to me.
